Reflexology

Reflexology is a gentle therapy that relieves tension and clears blockages by stimulating sensory receptors in the nerve fibres of the foot, producing energy that branches to the spinal cord where it is dispersed throughout the entire nervous system. It relaxes the body, thereby reducing any constriction of blood vessels and improving circulation, which helps to break up and dissolve crystal deposits caused by an excess of uric acid, which has built up in the body and settled in the feet. During a Reflexology treatment, endorphins are released into the bloodstream, easing aches and pains, promoting a feeling of deep relaxation and balance in those treated. Reflexology helps restore and maintain the bodies' natural equilibrium and encourages the body to work naturally to restore its own healthy balance. Reflexology has been shown to be effective for:

  • - Back Pain
  • - Migraine headaches
  • - Infertility
  • - Arthritis
  • - Sleep disorders
  • - Hormonal imbalances
  • - Sports injuries
  • - Digestive disorders
  • - Stress-related conditions

Reflexology is also being used to help lower back pain relief, multiple sclerosis treatment and is a great natural stress relief. Reflexology is a complement to standard medical care and is not a replacement to medical help.

Ear Candling

The flame of the candle (when the candle is properly seated in the ear) creates a draw or vacuum which pulls the wax, fungus, Candida yeast, and other particles of debris out of the ear and up into the bottom of the candle. The vacuum is caused by the warmed air from the flame and the colder existing air moving through the hollow chamber of the candle. The movement and compression between the ear canal and the candle chamber generate air flow with increasing velocity, thus producing the sucking vacuum.

Indications that Ear Candles may be beneficial to you or your family:

  • - Hearing loss caused by presence of secretions that block functioning, as in cases of rhinitis, sinusitis, and otitis.
  • - Ringing in the ears, buzzing caused by the presence of fluid.
  • - Excess of cerumen (wax).
  • - Irritation of the ear and of the sinus.
  • - Fluid trapped in the ear from swimming or showering.
  • - Chronic Sinusitis.
  • - Stress and irritability brought on by loud noises.
  • - Poor balance, due to an off balance equilibrium (inner ear).
  • - Circulation problems in the ear.
  • - Excessive itching of the ears.
